Release a cheer! Hope is here!

Hello heysomeonecares reader extraordinaire,

Thank-you for coming on over. Today's Blog For Asia post is on a woman from Nepal who discovered hope! On a quick sidenote; If you haven't been here for a while there's been something new that recently happened. I decided to become a Blogger For Asia and help promote some pretty life altering truths and stories.

Now onto the story for today.

I'd like you to meet Shiuli. At the ripe young age of 14 years old,
Shiuli entered an arranged marriage. Then her and her husband moved to a new city and
found work at a Carpet factory. The pair had three daughters. Unfortunately, Shiulu's husband Tarun became quite sick. He never recovered,
and he died 7 years of marriage later.

Shiuli was left a very young widow. She also was left with 3 kids to look after. The income wasn't quite enough and they were quickly swept into poverty. Shiuli's youngest daughter starved to death.

Shiuli then was left more broken hearted than ever. In the midst of her turmoil, she sought help.  Shiuli was afraid she herself would soon die (leaving her other 2 daughters to fend for themselves.)

She visited different places in search of answers; and even gave "sacrifices, to the gods, hoping for a response." This Gospel For Asia article I'm citing from tells us that "For all her searching, she couldn't find any peace-until one day when visitors interrupted her work."

spoiler alert: (This is where things start looking up.)

The ladies who walked into the carpet factory,
told Shiuli "they were followers of Jesus. They explained about Christ and His sacrifice on the cross. As Shiuli listened to their kind words, she felt like she had finally found someone to turn to."

(How incredible!)

Shiuli then, "confided in them, pouring out her whole,  sad story to the women.
They shared God's love and told her He could free her from all her burdens."

These ladies were missionaries on a mission!
Who, "were sharing the hope of the true God with people like Shiuli who desperately needed Him."

The missionaries got Shiuli plugged into a local church,
and as Shiuli puts it,
"The Lord has blessed me in such a wonderful way that He has provided shelter, food, special care and attention through His people."

and "I was really deprived of love and affection, but here, everybody loves and takes care of me.  I thank the Lord Jesus Christ and His people."

Thank you for taking the time to read this heart-breaking,
touching,
and inspirational story.
